I’m trying to get better and more consistent and eliminate error trades.

My understanding is that – In summary if the next candle closes outside the range of the candle
before then in an uptrend the price will go up. And in a downtrend price will go down.
And if the price closes inside the range of the previous bar then the price direction will change?
As in go from downtrend to an uptrend (in an downtrend) or go from uptrend to downtrend (in an uptrend)
