inside or outside buy stop and sell stop

I’m still interested with your trading approach, such as this :

But I don’t really understand why we go long or short only this side of the “bull bull bear bear” and not on the other side.
In another video, you said that we should go buy stop or sell stop at each bound of this pattern.

Do you always go “stop orders” and never “limit orders” ?
